- I'm celebrating my 8th month as a Blevins! My best friend/husband and I married on September 1, 2007 and we're so enjoying our new life as newlyweds with all the ups and downs and twists and turns of marriage.
- Grad school here I come! After 3 years of the "real world," I will now be attempting a full-time job as a Volunteer Coordinator and life as a part-time grad student. I'm going back to get my Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in English. I hope to be teaching high school English by 2010 (at the latest!).
- Currently, J and I are hosting his brother-in-law during the week as he got a new job here in Atlanta but his family (my sis-in-law and nephew) hasn't moved up here yet. And this weekend, my dad stayed with us Friday and Saturday night, and then my in-laws stayed last night! We jokingly refer to our apartment (that's right--I said apartment--we don't even have a house!) as the revolving door of the Blevins B&B.
- My in-laws are moving here! Truly, I couldn't be more thrilled about this new venture. We're all originally from this area, so it'll be nice to have most of our family here again.
- Baby sis is all grown up. My other best friend/sister graduated from my alma mater (UGA) this weekend and is joining me in the real world. I'm so excited to be living in the same city as her again! We'll be double-dating all the time!
That's me in a nutshell at the moment. Oh--and I'm counting down the days until we vacation in Cabo. 12 more days...
