Well, I'd love to share gossip with my readers about my first few days of teaching, but--lo, and behold--some of my students have already found my blog!!! Guess I can't talk about them, anymore, can I?!?! ;)
So....don't know how much I'll be blogging anymore, but I did want to share this. I stole it from someone else, I'll be honest. I will now be spelling Wednesday, "wEDnesday" because of my obsession with Twilight and Edward (hence the "ED"). Thought that was creative and hilarious! Hehe!

I started reading them as part of my Young Adult Lit class and became so entrenched in the love story of Bella and Edward. And as cheesy as it is...I love a happy ending. :) Well done, Stephenie Meyer! You've written a fantastic saga for adolescents...and maybe a few adults, too.

Sorry to leave such a random 'comment', but this is the only way i know how to reach you and Jason. I left him a message on facebook, but I am sure he has disowned the social network. Kaki and I are heading to Gulf Shores the week of May 30 - June 5. We found a beach house that sleeps about 10+. Rob Lundy will be joining and Jessica maybe joining as well. The other people attending are recent grads of Texas Tech (don't worry, they may seem slow at times, but a Coors Light will cheer them up). We would love for you and jason to join us, but if you have prior arrangements I totally understand. Let us know if y'all are interested.
